52 Week Project – Week 1

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

Life goes by fast. Too fast. I’m only just now realizing that my parents truly did know what they were talking about. I see how fast time goes when I look at my two little boys who aren’t so little anymore…they are growing up too fast. I’m sure you other parents know what I’m talking about.

This brings me to my project for 2010. A bunch of other photographers on my photography board were talking about doing a 52 week project where they take a picture every week for a year. Like other photographers, I forget to pick up my camera and take pictures of my own kids without worrying if the lighting is right, if they have dirt on their faces, or what the background looks like. So, this blog is dedicated to pictures of my kids and how they really are. There might be dirt on their face, the house may not be perfectly spotless, but these pictures are memorable. I may edit them, I may not, depending on the picture, but I’m hoping my boys will be able to look back on these for years to come.
